DocuWare optimises Georgi Transporte workflow
Georgi Transporte rapidly developed into one of the largest air freight transport companies in Europe, and has come to enjoy an excellent reputation with international airlines. From its humble beginnings as an investment in one special vehicle, increasing customer requirements have led the company to expand into a doyen in the field of oversized shipments and consignments requiring unusually high levels of care. The situation in the management centre developed accordingly; the original plans to archive large amounts of paper documents took an increasingly large scale due to the increasing demands, leading to the introduction of a DocuWare DMS. This has made a decisive improvement in optimising the entire workflow system. This project was managed in a joint effort by Siegener bmd GmbH and Kölner ALOS GmbH.

Deutsche Post in-house service, O2 contract documents
ALOS introduced the OCR software solution for AnyDoc for Deutsche Post in-house service (DP IHS). DP IHS processes mobile phone contracts of O2 as an outsourced service. 130,000 contracts are processed every month at the central scanning point in the Erlangen-based in-house service centre using the software. Documents are sent to two scanning stations equipped with Böwe Bell+Howell Copiscan 800 Plus scanners for automatic batch scanning using ALOS-SCAN software. AnyDoc OCR adds to efficient recognition of relevant contract information after digitisation. The documents are archived in the DocuWare at the end of the scanning process. ALOS completed the entire project at DP IHS with great success.

Complete Deutsche Steinkohle AG microfilm archive digitised by ALOS GmbH
Deutsche Steinkohle AG (DSK) secures energy utilisation in Germany by applying long-term strategies. Current prognoses hold that our coal resources will last for another four hundred years. However, looking back at history should also be an economically viable prospect. Researching microfilm records back to 1964 takes simply too much time, and Cologne-based ALOS GmbH was entrusted with digitising the entire archive inventory.

JobRouter in use at sebaldus GmbH, Nuremberg
A member of the schlott Group, one of Europe's largest service companies in the print and direct marketing field, sebaldus is staffed by around four thousand employees. To speed up document processing in the company automatically for processing according to status, JobRouter was introduced to make further improvements on corporate workflow. JobRouter works with the DocuWare DMS already implemented in the company, which had already been set up by ALOS GmbH, the successful document management service company.
